PURPOSE OF OUR POLICY

Blinker Subscription Pty Ltd Trading as Loopit Subscription ACN 636 030 370 (we, us or our) has adopted this Privacy Policy to ensure that we have standards in place to protect the Personal Information that we collect about individuals.

This Privacy Policy follows the standards of the Australian Privacy Principles set by the Australian Government for the handling of Personal Information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act). By publishing this Privacy Policy we aim to make it easy for our customers and the public to understand what Personal Information we collect and store, why we do so, how we receive and/or obtain that information, and the rights an individual has with respect to their Personal Information in our possession.

WHAT IS PERSONAL INFORMATION

Our Privacy Policy deals with how we handle "personal information" as it is defined in the Privacy Act (Personal Information). This includes information such as an individual's name, date of birth, address, nationality, driver's licence details and other information which is capable of identifying the individual.

The Privacy Policy applies to all forms of information, physical and digital, whether collected or stored electronically or in hardcopy.

Where we collect your Personal Information from a third party we will take reasonable steps to ensure that you are made aware of any information provided by a third party (e.g. police checks, credit checks etc).

HOW INFORMATION IS COLLECTED AND USED

We collect your Personal Information for the primary purpose of the normal day to day operations of our business, including subscription to motor vehicles. This allows us to identify who an individual is for the purposes of our business, contact the individual in the ordinary course of business and transact with the individual.

We may also use your personal information for secondary purposes closely related to the primary purpose, in circumstances where you would reasonably expect such use or disclosure, such as marketing or promotional activities.

The circumstances where Personal Information is likely to be collected are as follows:

• Registrations: When an individual registers with Loopit Subscription whereby they provide Personal Information details in order to subscribe to a motor vehicle with us;

• Supply: When an individual supplies us with goods or services;

• Contact: When an individual contacts us in any way;

• Access: When an individual accesses us physically we may require them to provide us with details for us to permit them such access. When an individual accesses us through the internet we may collect information using cookies (if relevant – an individual can adjust their browser's setting to accept or reject cookies) or analytical services; and/or

• Pixel Tags: Pixel tags enable us to send email messages in a format customers can read and they tell us whether mail has been opened.

You have a right not to provide information that can identify you. However, if all or part of the Personal Information that we request from you is not provided, then we may not be able to do certain things (including supply you with goods or services).

DISCLOSURE

Generally, we do not disclose your personal information outside Loopit.

We may however disclose your Personal Information to:

• our employees, related bodies corporate, contractors or service providers for the purposes of operation of our website or our business, fulfilling requests by you, and to otherwise provide services;

• providers, suppliers and other third parties with whom we have commercial relationships including but not limited to for business, marketing, and related purposes;

• if necessary, to our professional advisors including risk insurers and our solicitors; or

• where required or authorised by law.

OVERSEAS STORAGE AND DISCLOSURE

In the normal course of business, we may disclose Personal Information to overseas recipients such as our related or associated companies, or to third parties. This disclosure may occur if our service providers are located overseas, if any transactions, information, products or services have an overseas connection, where the individual consents, where the disclosure is for the benefit of the individual, or is for the performance of a contract with us. We will take reasonable steps to protect an individual's Personal Information and privacy if this disclosure occurs. You agree and consent to the possible use and disclosure of this information to overseas recipients from time to time in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

SECURITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We will retain Personal Information for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

We will take all reasonable precautions to protect an individual's Personal Information from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. This includes appropriately securing our physical facilities and electronic networks.

When your Personal Information is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was obtained, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently deidentify it.

HOW TO ACCESS AND/OR UPDATE INFORMATION

Subject to the Australian Privacy Principles, an individual has the right to request the Personal Information we hold about them.

We will correct any errors in the Personal Information we hold about an individual upon receiving written notice from them about those errors.

We will investigate the matter. We will respond promptly and reasonably aiming to resolve all complaints.

Upon conclusion of our investigation, if you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may escalate the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner:
